Laser coating and laser repair processes have developed considerably in recent years. Machines have also adapted to applications, whether for direct manufacturing, preventive protection or repair. Likewise, lasers, powder feeders and nozzles have evolved, making this technology difficult to grasp. Over 15 years ago, IREPA LASER set up a specialist department that has been behind several patents and innovations.

Acquire the fundamentals of laser treatment, laser cladding and laser repair techniques.
Identify and master the operating parameters on a laser machine.
Analyse and assess the influence of the operating parameters.
Know how to set up laser tools for the specific needs of repair or cladding.
Understand the specific metallurgical features of laser cladding.
Know how to carry out a metallurgical analysis of a deposit.
