French Photonics Days
The 5th edition of the French Photonics Days will take place from 17 to 18 October 2023 at the Pavillon Joséphine in Strasbourg. The main theme of the event will be: “Photonic Processes for Health and Industry”.
The event is organised by SupOptique Alumni, Photonics France and the University of Strasbourg (ICube Laboratory), with the support of the City and Eurométropole of Strasbourg, Grand E-Nov+, the Grand Est Innovation and International Prospecting Agency, and IREPA LASER.
The event is designed for a technical but non-specialist audience. The aim is to:
- Take stock of the development of new photonic technologies and their applications
- Attend a presentation by Bernard Kress (Dir. XR Hardware, Google) on new display architectures for augmented reality headsets
- Discover new products by visiting our sponsors’ stands
- Learn about ongoing PhD theses on the conference topics during a poster session
- Find out about new European funding opportunities
- Visit companies in the Strasbourg area
