Laser safety training specifically for entertainment venues
Since the 1980s, lasers have commonly been used to enliven shows and concerts both indoors and outdoors. However, regulations set limits on the use and operation of this equipment. In particular, staff are required to be trained in laser safety.
Indeed, maintenance and adjustment are the leading causes of accidents on industrial laser systems. More than anyone else, technicians are exposed and therefore directly concerned by the rules laid down in current standards.
IREPA LASER has therefore created a training module that fully meets these regulations. This module was designed exclusively for public-access establishments (ERP) that use laser systems.
Training your team ensures that everyone has the same level of information on the risks, standards and current regulations regarding laser safety.
The key objectives of this new training course are to:
- Identify the general risks inherent in the use of lasers
- Comply with and analyse the safety instructions specific to ERPs
- Adapt protection and prevention measures
- Implement the necessary protection measures in an ERP
- Know and apply the regulations
- Ensure one’s own safety and that of one’s surroundings
Our training courses are accredited by the Commission Nationale de Sécurité Optique of Photonics France. Trained individuals are then entered in the national register of trained persons.
