Bachelor’s degree in additive and innovative manufacturing starts soon

Four members of the AddAGE network – IREPA LASER, CIRTES, the Institut Supérieur d’Ingénierie de la Conception (GIP-INSIC), the UIMM Lorraine training centre, Institut Mines-Télécom and the Télécom Physique Strasbourg engineering school – are launching a bachelor’s degree in Additive and Innovative Manufacturing at the start of the next academic year.

The aim is to meet human resources needs for the profile of a specialised machine technician. Graduates will master all additive manufacturing processes and the associated tools (laser, finish machining), set up machines to produce parts meeting specifications, and maintain these machines while complying with health and safety procedures.

The course lasts one year and is open to students who already hold a BTS or DUT, under a professionalisation contract, from 1 October 2021 to 30 September 2022.
