The INTEGRADDE project turns 1!
The INTEGRADDE project will hold its “12M” General Assembly on 29 and 30 October 2019. It will be organised by IREPA LASER at its premises in Strasbourg.
The INTEGRADDE project is an initiative that aims to address one of the European Commission’s fundamental objectives: advancing Industry 4.0 by deploying additive manufacturing technologies in European industrial environments, under real manufacturing conditions.
After a full year of activity, some fifty professionals and experts from the 26 organisations making up the INTEGRADDE consortium will meet to review the first 12 months of the project.
The innovations of the INTEGRADDE project
By implementing a genuine control strategy for additive manufacturing processes – from product design through to final verification – the project aims to increase the reliability of additive manufacturing by 40% and its production speed by 25%.
These new developments will be applicable in a wide range of sectors such as construction, aerospace and the automotive industry.
A support network will also be created for companies wishing to incorporate additive manufacturing technologies into their current processes. They will receive genuine support in their investment decisions.
The INTEGRADDE consortium
The consortium, led by AIMEN, consists of 26 partners across 11 countries, including IREPA LASER. The INTEGRADDE project is co-funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
