Factory of the Future programme FAML 2020

An industrial development programme “Laser Metal Additive Manufacturing”

At its strategy committee meeting in December 2015, IREPA LASER approved the Alsace 3D strategic development plan, including the Factory of the Future programme “Fabrication Additive Métallique Laser” FAML 2020. This programme aims to develop frugal solutions for manufacturing technical parts at lower cost, by combining materials of different kinds and/or by associating the CLAD® additive manufacturing process with other processes such as SLM (Selective Laser Melting) or Cold Spray.
