Welding expert training path
New training for 2020! IREPA LASER now offers an expert path in laser welding, a two-stage training course to master the parameters of laser welding for a choice of 3 key materials.
These expert paths are intended for technicians with basic knowledge of conventional welding. They enable them to acquire laser welding skills before specialising in welding a specific material.
- Laser beam welding of stainless steels
- Laser beam welding of copper-based materials
- Laser beam welding of aluminium
These 3 expert paths allow learners to specialise in, or refine their skills in, laser welding of the chosen material. On completion of the training, learners will have acquired a methodology for optimising the welding process and will be able to set up a machine independently, analyse a joining defect and respond accordingly, and choose a laser technology for welding the chosen material.
These courses last 5 days and can be run in-house or as open courses. A training certificate will be issued at the end of the course.
