JNPLI 2016

As part of the Journées nationales des procédés laser pour l’industrie, a key event dedicated to industrial laser processes and their advances, two IREPA LASER experts will present their latest work in their respective fields:

• Frédéric MERMET – 3D texturing by femtosecond laser: superhydrophobicity for medical applications!
• Didier BOISSELIER – Additive Manufacturing by CLAD® process. Application examples and post-processing

Among the themes highlighted this year:

• Additive manufacturing: powder spraying, powder bed,
• Welding: laser welding, hybrid welding, process control, in-line inspection, comparison of laser/other technologies,
• Micromachining and texturing: quality or productivity improvement, process control, automation,
• Glass and sapphire machining: drilling, cutting, engraving,
• Beam shaping and delivery: dynamic, flexible, trepanning, zero taper, multi-beam, fast deflection…

The 2016 edition will take place on 28 and 29 June 2016 at the Château de Colonster in Liège (Belgium), and will be organised in partnership by the CLUB LASER ET PROCEDES (CLP), LASEA, CEWAC and SIRRIS.

Demonstrations of laser applications at LASEA, CEWAC, SIRRIS and the CENTRE SPATIAL DE LIEGE (CSL) are offered on 29 June.
