Laser welding training
The “Laser welding specialisation” training course is designed to help you improve and develop your skills in laser welding of metallic materials.
In just a few days, you will learn how to make better use of your lasers’ performance, analyse a joining defect and acquire a methodology to optimise your process.
- 2-1: Laser welding specialisation – Dates: 8 to 11 March 2022 (3.5 days)
On request, IREPA LASER also offers an expert pathway in laser welding, a two-stage training course to master the laser welding parameters for 3 key materials of your choice.
These expert pathways are intended for technicians with basic knowledge of conventional welding. They enable them to acquire laser welding skills before specialising in welding a specific material such as stainless steel, copper or aluminium.
- 2-11: Laser beam welding of stainless steels
- 2-12: Laser beam welding of copper materials
- 2-13: Laser beam welding of aluminium
These 3 expert pathways enable learners to specialise in, or improve their skills in, laser welding of the chosen material. At the end of the training, learners will have acquired a methodology for optimising the welding process and will be able to set up a machine independently, analyse a joining defect and respond accordingly, and choose a laser technology for welding the chosen material.
These courses last 5 days and can be run in-house or as open courses. A training certificate will be issued at the end of the course.
