Looking back at the PLI 2018 trade fair
The 21st edition of the Procédés Laser pour l’Industrie trade fair was held on 3 and 4 July on the premises of ENSEIRB-MATMECA in Bordeaux. IREPA LASER co-organised the event with the Club Laser et Procédés. Conferences, an exhibition of technical expertise in the exhibition area and company visits punctuated the programme of these two days entirely dedicated to laser technologies. The event brought together 230 participants, who were able to exchange ideas and discover the new products presented by the exhibitors.
This year, a new business meetings service was offered to visitors to the trade fair. The aim was to encourage and facilitate meetings between exhibitors and visitors around specific issues. Nearly 200 business meetings were scheduled over the two days.
The first day ended with a networking evening at Château Luchey-Halde in Mérignac. The 100 or so guests greatly enjoyed the tour of the wine cellar and the tasting of Bordeaux wines, accompanied by a gourmet dinner.
