
The Carnot network
IREPA LASER is a member of the Institut Carnot MICA and is very proud to be part of the Carnot network.
The Institut Carnot MICA is a public research organisation that supports companies in developing their Research and Development projects. MICA is an expert in functional materials, surfaces and interfaces and associated processes, from fundamental research to industrial application.
The institute supports companies throughout the R&D process, with a comprehensive and unique offering:
- R&D programme
- Services, expert assessments and consultancy
- Technology transfer
- Pilot production
- Tailor-made initial and continuing training
- Help with finding funding
MICA helps to increase the competitiveness of France’s economic and industrial fabric.
The institute comprises 18 members, including 9 research laboratories and 9 technical centres (CRT/CTI), of which IREPA LASER is very proud to be one. Every year, this centre of excellence enables 900 companies to benefit from partnerships with the best (materials) laboratories and their high-tech platforms.
The Institut Carnot MICA is a member of the Carnot network, made up of 38 institutes located in every region of France. These public research organisations offer their technologies and the skills of their research teams to companies (of all sizes and in all sectors). The Carnot network is also committed to “developing partnership research for the benefit of business innovation” and to increasing the economic impact of R&D projects. The Carnot network offers a wide range of skills meeting companies’ research and innovation needs.
