Workshop madAM days – 10 & 11 April 2019
IREPA LASER and CIRTES are organising, as part of the Grand Est Additive Manufacturing Network, their first national workshop with European ambitions on the key challenges of the digital chain in additive manufacturing: the madAM days.
This workshop will take place on 10 and 11 April 2019 on the premises of the IGBMC in Illkirch, south of Strasbourg.
Additive manufacturing offers the opportunity to design and manufacture complex parts. However, the success of these parts relies on mastering 3 main, fundamental pillars of expertise: design, process and inspection.
The madAM days workshop offers you a cross-cutting focus on the tools of the digital chain, namely design, modelling and simulation. These new tools give users solutions to optimise products in terms of performance, cost and lead times, while guaranteeing a right-first-time part.
Mastering the digital chain before the manufacturing phase is all the more essential for producing large parts, especially when they are made from expensive materials.
The conference programme will present participants with a digital toolbox and the solutions it contains. Testimonials from users and from developers / solution providers will give an overall view of the performance achieved.
