Job vacancy – Welding & Additive Manufacturing Project Engineer

Job description:

IREPA LASER is recruiting a Welding & Additive Manufacturing Project Engineer.

Duties

You will be the go-to expert for metal fusion processes such as welding and additive manufacturing.

Versatile process engineer:

• You develop and improve processes on our customers’ parts and for their various materials, ensuring the expected quality
• You work in a robotic and digital environment with state-of-the-art ancillary equipment
• You develop tooling and equipment with the design office to improve your working environment, and implement them
• You work continuously to improve the industrial and economic performance of welding and additive manufacturing processes and their value chain

Project manager: 

• You assess the human and machine resources needed to carry out industrial projects
• As project lead, you plan your activities, organise logistics, lead your project team and monitor progress using operational and SMART indicators
• You take part in customer training in your field and provide on-site assistance to customers when needed

Autonomous engineer and technician

• You develop your methodologies for process development in your field
• You capitalise on your know-how and apply it in the field

Skills / Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering or materials, with solid welding experience; IWT/IWE certification is a strong asset
• Knowledge of CNC and robots
• Knowledge of CAD / CAM
• Rigorous, persevering, well organised, keen to share knowledge

Salary

• €40–50k depending on experience
